This course aims to allow you to to have a clearer understanding of what infection control & prevention in, how infections spread; the importance of personal hygiene and health, and the principles surrounding decontamination and waste – so you can safely apply this knowledge to your workplace.

Method

Qualification
On successful completion of this Infection Prevention & Control Course, attendees will be awarded an Accredited Certificate of Achievement. All certification fees are included within the course fee.
Course content
This course is assessed based on the following topics of study:
- Principles of the course and spread of infection
- Principles of the importance of personal hygiene and health in the prevention and control of infection
- Principles of decontamination, cleaning and waste management
- Principles of infection prevention and control to include precautions and common health care associated Infections
