Tracheostomy care

About this course

This tracheostomy training course aims to familiarise students with the reasons for tracheostomy and the care and management of a tracheostomy. The goal of this tracheostomy training course is to introduce students to the purpose of tracheostomy and how to care for and manage it.

We deal partly with tracheostomy care in our Suctioning awareness training. However, this session will cover tracheostomy care separately and more in-depth.
